Who We Are
We are a private host on the island of Lopud. As a family we rent one villa, two apartments and one room on the island of Lopud under the brand Apartment Mihajlovic.
We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law. We don’t store personal information on our computer or any server, except the emails on Google/Gmail.

Who We Share Your Data With
We disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only inside our family, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide services. What Personal Data We Collect And Why We Collect It
We do not collect any personalized data automatically (i.e. through cookies). We only collect data via emails you send us. We use the data you’ve sent us to prepare an offer for you. We use Google/Gmail to process all internal email and communication with our customers. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask guests want to book the apartment to make deposit payment which means we can see the bank account from which the deposit was made. We do not collect or store this information. We can only see it on our bank statements.
We also collect your passports at arrival to inform Local Authorities of your arrival and departure date and give them detailed information stated in your passports. Your passport will be given back to you in 24 hours. We do not collect or store this information. We simply fill it in on a web site called evisitor.hr and it is then processed by Croatian Government.
We use email marketing to communicate with customers and potential customers from time to time. All email lists and campaigns are “opt-in” meaning we will not send you these sorts of emails unless you indicated that you wish to receive them on our website. If you have been our guest we may once or twice a year send you an email keep you up to date with what’s going on with Apartments Mihajlovic.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have been our guest or you have contacted us via email, you can request to see or download the data we have about you.
Typically for our guests, the data will be their email address, name and surname.
For paying customers, this will also include payment histories.
You can also request “to be forgotten” and we will erase any personally identifiable data we have about you. Of course, this excludes data we need for administrative or security purposes or if we are required by law to retain some of the data.
An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct his/her query to apartments.mihajlovic@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, not to exceed one week.
What Data Breach Procedures We Have In Place
Should any event occur where customer data has been lost, stolen, or potentially compromised, our policy is to alert our customers via email no later than 48 hours of our team becoming aware of the event. We will also report such incident to any required data protection authority. We will work closely with any customers affected to determine next steps such as any end-user notifications, needed patches, and how to avoid any similar event in the future.
